The BPG is not only business-minded, it also offers the opportunity to meet others in the South Florida business community and to make new friends. The weekly breakfast meetings on Thursday mornings are a staple of the BPG. Some members attend regularly, others only occasionally. It is not mandatory, but it is enjoyable!

 

Members meet each week from 7:45 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at Hugh's Catering located at 4351 NE 12th Terrace, Oakland Park, FL 33334, (954) 563-4844. Breakfast is served buffet style. Each week, there is a fifteen minute presentation by one of the members regarding business, news or personal observations and experiences. On occasion, we have guest speakers presenting subject matters of general interest. The breakfast meetings are a casual affair where people are encouraged to talk and visit with each other; making business contacts as well as long-term friendships.

 

 

GENERAL SOCIAL EVENT INFORMATION

The Social Committee offers monthly events that include something for everyone. The events include evenings at the theater, Dine-A-Round events (where members and their guests meet at a restaurant for an evening of food and conversation) and gatherings at other exciting local social venues.

 

GENERAL OPEN HOUSE INFORMATION

Members of BPG take turns hosting a Monthly Open House where members and their guests can visit a fellow member's place of business and learn more about what they do. This is not only a social event. It also offers members the valuable chance to learn about other business models and to discuss concerns and issues affecting industries and area businesses. Not all member business locations are suitable for entertaining groups of people.  In those cases, members will team up to co-host an Open House at a convenient location.
