 While
the BPG is not specific to one geographic location, most members
are from the Ft. Lauderdale, Pompano Beach, and Boca Raton areas.
As members of the South Florida community as well as the lesbian
and gay community, the people of the BPG contribute generously
their time and financial support to local organizations. Many
members of the Business Professional Group are actively involved
in community organizations and raise funds to support a variety
of charities.
BPG members who volunteer for other
organizations are able to keep each other up to date on what
those groups are doing, and offer help and expertise as needed.
As an organization, the BPG has helped with the toy drive
for a children’s diagnostic center, and is starting
an annual event to support a community effort.
